Be nice if he paid the billion or so he owes in back taxes
I don’t know about the back taxes but agree with what he said about incentives (regarding WFC): “Incentives work. The problem is that they work in either direction….”
If you create bad incentives — and the tax code is full of them — they encourage bad behavior. Don’t blame the taxpayer, blame the system.
Who pays more tax than they legally have to? As Kerry Packer maintained: “Pay your taxes but don’t tip ’em. They’re not doing that good a job.”
