A worthy discussion that’s long overdue by at least a few decades.
Personally I can’t see any excuse for 3 levels of govt and 9 different legal regimes with only 23 million of us. Not to mention a different planning policy for each council. How many billions do we waste with that duplication let alone the rest?
FWIW I’d love to see us at least get the choice to vote on abolishing state govt and replacing stamp duty with land tax amongst other issues.
