{"id":5673,"date":"2012-10-04T02:09:03","date_gmt":"2012-10-04T06:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goldstocksforex.com\/?p=5673"},"modified":"2012-10-04T02:09:03","modified_gmt":"2012-10-04T06:09:03","slug":"rj-crb-commodities-index-delisted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepatientinvestor.com\/index.php\/2012\/10\/04\/rj-crb-commodities-index-delisted\/","title":{"rendered":"RJ-CRB Commodities Index delisted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Intercontinental Exchange announced that ICE Futures US (formerly NYBOT) will cease listing any new expiration months in the RJ-CRB Index and Continuous Commodity Index (\u201cCCI\u201d) Futures Contracts, and is delisting all expiration months in RJ-CRB Index Futures Contracts as of the open of business on September 26, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Reasons given in their submission to the <a title=\"ICE submission to CFTC\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theice.com\/publicdocs\/regulatory_filings\/12-58_Delist_CCI_CRB_Futures.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Commodity Futures Trading Commission<\/a> were &#8220;&#8230;..the low volume transacted year to date, as well as historically, which evinced a lack of trader interest in the products.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Available alternatives are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"USCI\" href=\"http:\/\/www.unitedstatescommodityindexfund.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">US Commodity Index Fund<\/a> which tracks the SummerHaven Dynamic Commodity Index Total Return\u2120;<\/li>\n<li>S&amp;P World Commodity Index ($SWSP); and<\/li>\n<li>Dow Jones\/UBS (formerly &#8220;DJ-AIG&#8221;) Commodity Index ($DUBS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Of the three I prefer $DUBS, though $USCI is also a fairly close match.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.incrediblecharts.com\/images\/2012\/2012-10-04-crb.png?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Alternatives to CRB Commodities Index\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Intercontinental Exchange announced that ICE Futures US (formerly NYBOT) will cease listing any new expiration months in the RJ-CRB Index and Continuous Commodity Index (\u201cCCI\u201d) Futures Contracts, and is delisting all expiration months in RJ-CRB Index Futures Contracts as of the open of business on September 26, 2012.
