Breakout would offer a target of 3150*. A 63-day Twiggs Momentum trough above zero indicates continuation of the primary up-trend.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.incrediblecharts.com\/images\/2012\/2012-08-20-ndx.png?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Nasdaq 100 Index\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:right;font-size:.9em;\"><span style=\"color:#999999;\">* Target calculation: 2800 + ( 2800 &#8211; 2450 ) = 3150<\/span><\/p>\n<p>10-Year Treasury Yields recovered above initial resistance at 1.70 percent. Expect an attempt at the primary level of 2.40 percent. The Fed purchased $5 billion of Treasury notes\/bonds (nominal) and MBS last week; so they are not the cause of the rise.
