Breakout above parity would signal the start of a primary up-trend.<br \/>\n<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.incrediblecharts.com\/images\/2012\/2012-05-09-cadaud.png?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Canadian Dollar\/Australian Dollar\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Loonie retreated against the greenback, testing support at $0.995 after a false break above $1.01. Failure of support would confirm a bull trap and test primary support at $0.95.
