Breakout would offer a target of 2.50%.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.incrediblecharts.com\/images\/2018\/2020-01-10-tnx.png?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"10-Year Treasury Yields\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Rising treasury yields increase the opportunity cost of holding precious metals and are bearish for Gold.<\/p>\n<h2>Australia<\/h2>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s All Ordinaries Gold Index penetrated the upper border of its downward trend channel but this week&#8217;s tall shadow warns of selling pressure and another test of support at 6000.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.incrediblecharts.com\/images\/2018\/2020-01-10-xgd.png?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"All Ordinaries Gold Index\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Respect of support at 6000, with follow-through above 7000, would signal that a base has formed.<\/p>\n<h3>Patience<\/h3>\n<p>Gold is in a long-term up-trend and the current correction may offer an attractive entry point.
