LI&#8217;s Anne Applebaum served as moderator. #RussiaVsReality<\/p>\n<p>This is Vladimir Putin&#8217;s response to the wave of democracy movements that spread through the Arab world and Eastern Europe. Totalitarian states are particularly vulnerable to these movements.
